My skin is a dick

Ever since my skin fiasco, I’ve had pretty bitchy skin. It starts to react badly to products after 3 days. It can handle products for acne-prone skin. But those are usually very drying. I no longer need to treat my pizza face. I need to hydrate it. Because all those acne products have taken a toll on my face. Finding a moisturizer that didn’t break me out was nearly impossible. But I found it!

A couple of months ago I got my first tattoo. The tattoo artist gave me a tube of cream to keep it hydrated and help the healing. After it healed, I still had about 80% of the tube left. It felt like a waste to throw it out. So I kept it.

At the time I was warring with my skin. Trying to find products that wouldn’t result in acne or a rash. It seemed impossible to find a moisturizer that wouldn’t turn my face into a pizza. I decided to try the tube of Bepanthol. I had nothing to lose.

I’m so glad I did! I have a proper skin routine now. Six weeks in and my skin is looking amazeballs. Hydrated, plump and even clearer. So far I haven’t broken out. I’ve had the occasional red spot. But no allergic reaction at all.

The packaging isn’t fancy, it doens’t claim to have any magical properties and it’s pretty cheap. But i’m hooked. I’m staying loyal to this product until the end of my days… or until they discontinue it.

What’s your holy grail product?

I started using retin-A on my skin lately and its working its magic on my acne, it dries your skin heavily but if you use a cream on daily basis you should be fine, my acne are gone. I used to have huge cysts on my face.
